Jim Jordan: The Firebrand Conservative
Jim Jordan, a 59-year-old Ohio congressman from a district north of Columbus, is well-known for supporting policies on the extreme right and for being close to the late President Donald Trump.
In 2015, he was a co-founder of the House Freedom Caucus, a Republican Party faction famous for its staunch conservatism. Jordan frequently engaged in direct battles with the House GOP leadership as a result of his leadership in this caucus, yet later on, he developed a close relationship with McCarthy.

Kevin Hern, 61, is the chairman of the Republican Study Committee, a varied collection of conservative members who take steadfast positions on important topics like defense, the economy, and fiscal discipline.
